British Council Libya is committed to working closely with individuals and organisations for the future of Libya. We would like to connect with anyone who worked or studied in the UK to develop a new and uniquely-focused group of alumni.
You are eligible to apply if:
- you attended a school or college in the UK
- studied for your undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in a UK institution
- conducted research or worked in the UK for a minimum of six months
During the first few months of 2014, we will be building our database, looking for eligible applicants and trying to locate potential members.
In the long-term, we will build a network of members who can act as ambassadors, creating long-term relationships between the UK and Libya.
The network will engage with key British and Libyan organisations, offering professional and networking opportunities, collaborating on mutually beneficial areas for research and development.
