Tanweer organization is a Tripoli-based CSO that works on developing and growing skills among various segments of society. Especially with women and youth, they provide workshops and a wide range of technical training programs.
Through their initiatives, participants are equipped with diverse experiences and knowledge that can greatly benefit them and their communities. Through Linatawaan, Tanweer launched their initiative "My Profession is in My Hands" which provides more than 30 people with access to vocational education.
This project effectively addressed the pressing issues of youth unemployment and the lack of job opportunities by offering vocational courses to young individuals. Professions such as plumbing, blacksmithing, carpentry, and electricity were at the forefront of this endeavour.
This project aims to:
- Provide Educational Courses: Comprehensive educational courses were delivered to empower young individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the job market. Participants gained valuable insights and practical expertise in their chosen fields.
- Implement a Training Program: A robust training program was implemented, offering a combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. Through expert guidance and practical training, participants were well-prepared to seize promising job opportunities.
